InchFab began out of Mitchell and Parker's PhD work at MIT. During grad school, they saw firsthand that even top institutions are held back by costly, outdated fabrication infrastructure.
As builders, they set out to create a faster, more accessible path to micro and nanoscale device development for themselves and others. That work produced the core technology behind InchFab: an ultra-low-cost, scalable micro-sized fab platform. Today, InchFab uses this platform to deliver flexible, cost-effective foundry services to customers and partners.
